Storytelling through improvisation, drama and movement
Welcome to Fairytale Theatre, a new innovative group with a focus on Storytelling through improvisation, drama and movement. We believe in the power of storytelling and feel that improvisations really help to expand and develop a child's imagination, as well as help develop confidence and their emotional well being. Drama is known to help children to cope with anxiety and manage their feelings and behaviour in a positive manner. It is an outlet that allows children to be who they truly are and to shine in their own unique ways.
The sessions are based around confidence building, raising self esteem and coping with anxiety.
Each session includes mindfulness activities which help our storytellers to develop an understanding of their emotions and will give them tools and techniques to improve their listening and attention skills alongside giving them control over their own body and mind.
Rachael is an accredited Mindfulness teacher having completed a
Diploma in Mindfulness for Children course with a distinction.
